Well its been some time since I wrote on the timeline, and that's a good thing. Sports has evolved in the community and although COVID is still present in our world, we are getting on with it. I've been blessed with work locally, from sports, architecture, commercial and theatre. When it comes to the last genre, I can tell you working with the school musicals is a gem. Such energy, teachers with passion, its just uplifting. Fortunately past relationships have been resurrected and further work in this arena is on the horizon. I missed out on photographing & videoing at the Palm Creek festival, for a few musicians when a few ducks didn't line up. Oh well, there goes the bank balance. Some of my major Qld contracts continue to bubble along keeping the dollars flowing.
In the next few months, I will be working with creatives, music and other talent. Expect to see more of the stage colours and "G" walking the corridors. As always if your looking for a photographer, then just ask. I'm still doing the occasional TFP, trying to fit in one each month. Apparently the tax guy loves that aspect.
Not long before I move to mirrorless, my mate state side is currently testing an R1. So exciting and they roll out at the Olympics, if that ever happens. On that front the opportunity for the Oceanic nations I was working with became a non event. So I can say, I will never make an Olympics - like many others. Oh and the latest news, I'm learning to drive a HR crash box. Makes you think what I have happening next in the world of photography. Stay Tuned its actually a 2022 event.
Stay focused, keep ya eye in the finder and may the public stay outta ya way. Make money, be well and keep laughing with whoever you can.
